What if my collage arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.
If an artwork is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 14 days.
What if my collage arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days and if possible keep a photograph.
What about Overseas Returns?
At this time we are unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my artwork?
Most orders will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on their size and weight. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.
Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, if you live in London this is possible. Select the COLLECT code at the checkout. My studio is in East London, UK, E5.
Is Shipping included?
Yes, most artwork has an estimated shipping cost included at checkout based on the size of the work and your location.
Note: At the current time shipping costs are varying significantly due to Covid-19 restrictions and Brexit, especially on air freight. If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted I reserve the right to discuss this with you and to refuse the sale.
What about large or high value artworks?
I appreciate this is a high value purchase and a piece of work I have have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. This will be noted in the shipping details with each product listing. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually so please contact me before purchasing. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is despatched. If you buy online first in order to secure the painting the shipping cost will be billed separately after agreement.
Can you ship internationally?
Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you need a bespoke courier service. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.
Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.
Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.
What about the dreaded Brexit?
Currently it’s not clear what extra charges will be made for EU customers. As I don’t want you to have unexpected charges made for VAT, customs charges or extra handling charges currently being levied I have temporarily removed EU countries from the checkout.
BUT – if there is something you have seen and love and are OK with the possible fees charged at customs do please email me.
What medium are your artworks?
I work mainly in water based mediums; acrylic paint, inks and pencils. I also use oil stick and crayons. Further details will usually be listed alongside each piece.
Are your artworks framed?
It varies. Most work on canvas is sold unframed; many people prefer this more modern look and it means it can be shipped without costing you more. If you like the look of a frame you can choose when you have the painting with you – it’s easier to decide that way! A slimline box frame looks great on a canvas.
Paintings and collages on cradled wood are also ready to hang. The larger pieces are painted on deep wooden panels (50mm or 2 inches) and can be hung directly. They also look good in a modern box frame. Details will be with each work. Please contact me if you would like bespoke advice or have any further questions – framing can be an art in itself!
Will my painting be ready to hang?
Yes, all paintings will come with picture wire already fixed and ready to hang. You just need to decide where!
Can I purchase your work with a payment plan?
Yes, that can be arranged. For any work over £500 you can pay in instalments. Please send me a message and we can work out an arrangement that suits you. As soon as the final payment is made, your work will be shipped to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.
My favourite artwork has sold – how can I be sure to know about new work?
Some pieces sell very quickly. Make sure you sign up to my newsletter to find out about new work before it is added to the available artwork page. But, as I try not to bombard you with emails, you can also follow studio progress on (link to instagram) or (link to Facebook) to see work coming up.
How will my painting be wrapped?
It depends on size, but paintings will be carefully packed using corner protection, bubble wrap and cardboard. Each one is unique so I take care that is well protected to arrive in perfect condition. For further details about delivery please see shipping details.Do you do special commissions?
Please get in touch on the contact page if you are looking to commission a piece.
